Experience life in the trenches in World War One

Concept
Experience based on a diary

Sergeant Major James W. Block was tasked with recording the history of the 59th infantry regiment and the 4th infantry division during WW1. While you experience the First World War firsthand, the sergeant tells you his story.

Using excerpts, photos and maps from his diary, we created a virtual reality experience to accurately depict life in and around the trenches.

Services
Designed to be used in multiple locations

Designed to be used in multiple locations, surrounding ambient odour and a genuine soundscape further ensure the immersive nature of the experience.

In addition, this VR trench experience will be used to increase awareness online as well as being viewed via mobile devices within the army. The project included the creation of the experience and delivery hardware.
